  • Enhances and adds depth of flavour to any cake, cookie or dessert
  • Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to your favourite chocolate mousse or chocolate cake recipe to intensify the cocoa flavour and add a subtle sweetness

Ndali Fairtrade Vanilla Extract Intense exudes notes of warm butterscotch and honey; and it is rich and fudgey like dates, with oaky notes that add incredible depth.

Made in small artisanal batches on Ndali Estate, we have not added sugar or glycerine to this vibrant vanilla extract, traditionally used to fortify, stabilise, or mask off-notes, because we feel the quality of the vanilla beans speaks for itself.  The ingredients are just vanilla beans and alcohol.

This extract is made using a high proportion of vanilla beans exploded in vanillin crystals. These are some of the rarest and strongest vanilla beans in the world which have been left longer on the vine until they split through ripeness, and then encouraged through careful curing to develop iridescent vanillin crystals: the ultimate mark of vanilla strength and quality.

  • Use anywhere between 1tsp and 1tbs according to your recipe’s requirement
